Admission

The admission is subject to the possession of specific curricular requirements and adequacy of personal preparation. All the following curricular requirements are required:

  • Degree (Laurea), M.Sc. (Laurea Magistrale) awarded by an Italian university or a five-year degree (ante Ministerial Decree 509/1999), awarded by an Italian university or equivalent qualifications for non-Italian degrees
  • Possession of at least 36 credits (according to ECTS), or equivalent knowledge, acquired at any university (undergraduate, graduate, M.Sc., master’s degree, five-year degree) in the scientific areas referred by Italian Regulations as ‘base training activities’ for the degrees in the classes of Engineering, with no less than 30 credits in basic training activities in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics
  • Possession of at least 45 credits, or equivalent knowledge, acquired at any university program in scientific areas referred to as fundamental courses by the Italian regulations, of the degrees of the classes of engineering

For graduates abroad, verification of curricular requirements will be carried out considering appropriate equivalence between courses indicated in the personal curricula and the indications of the Italian regulations specified above.

The verification of the preparation will be carried out as described in the academic regulations of the M.Sc. The validation of credits as a result of the recognition of:

  • Professional knowledge and skills certified individually in accordance with current legislation
  • Other knowledge and skills gained through educational activities at university level is possible

It is also required to have adequate knowledge of the English language, with reference to disciplinary vocabularies, equivalent to B.2 or higher.

It is finally required to knowledge of at least one programming language, which will be verified during the admission test.
